Having a bunch of problems and I have no clue why

I have absolutely no clue what is wrong. I installed a fresh copy of minecraft, followed by badlion. running both on 1.8.9 on windows.to start, my UI scale is fucked. "large" is far too small but "auto" makes the gui so big that parts of it cover eachother. this happens whether or not im running badlion client or not, so it's likely got nothing to do with badlion. what DOES have to do with badlion however is that on top of the minecraft ui being scaled terribly, the badlion ui is scaled terribly along with it. the slider that comes up when you click badlion settings is insanely small, making it so that I can only read the text if I bring my face up to the screen. the same goes for the chat which is also insanely small, and I cant find anything to resize this stuff for the life of me. for some reason, all the gui overlays for things like toggle spring and potion effects work just fine.
theres also a lot of smaller, really annoying, and absolutely confusing bugs. the main one being that, for some reason, ONLY when im shifting, if i go to press mouse 4 (my hotbar slot 9 key), it instead refuses to go to hotbar slot 9, and instead takes me to hotbar slot 8. when im not shifting however, no problems, everything works fine. I've changed it to other keys and that fixes the problem, but for some god forsaken reason ONLY mouse 4 doenst work while im shifted.

If you want to change the GUI global scale, go into our Mod Slider, click "Graphics" and scroll down (like shown underneath)

If you're using New Chat, which you should (https://www.badlion.net/wiki/new-chat) you can change the size of the chat by going into its settings (the gear or ":" icon) and resizing the focused and unfocsed height and the width.

We're planning on redisigning the who GUI system for Badlion 3.0 and planning on adding more GUI scale options.
You can also rescale the size of mods (Text version) by going into the title-screen, clicking "Mod Profiles" and changing the scale (or as shown in the image below)

I've heard of people with this same sort of issue. Try going into your gaming mouse software (Razer synapse or other) and assiging your Mouse Button 4 to a keyboard function such as "9" and then settings your slot key to the number 9.
Tell me if you still have any issues.

i appreciate the response. however, none of the images you attached seem to be loading properly so im still a little lost
