every time i load the client, or leave a server to refresh my list and go onto a different one, IT RESETS MY ENTIRE SERVER LIST. this is starting to get very annoying and i dont know why its happening. help.

also i know this may be the wrong forum, but theres no "help with client" forum.

it also resets all the mods i have on too.

Could you please submit a bug report by clicking on "Submit Bug Report" at the bottom of the launcher after all the mods reset? Then developers will be able to look at your logs and try to diagnose and fix the issue.

If servers disappear from the servers list (reset), it means that the file that has information about the server list (servers.dat) got corrupted. It's a Minecraft issue.
Create a backup of the servers.dat file (you can find it in the Minecraft directory), and next time when this issue happens, paste the servers.dat file ( a backup version) into the Minecraft directory (.minecraft), or if the issue happens whilst the game is open, there should be a temporary file (server.dat_tmp), if you don't see it, enable "Hidden Items". Don't close your game and rename the file servers.dat_tmp to servers.dat, then refresh the list.


What do you have set as a Minecraft path in the launcher settings?
