So Lately when I use badlion I keep getting FPS spikes for no reason and I didn’t change any settings before I was spiking. When I go on the old Minecraft launcher I have no spikes at all. If someone can, please tell me how I can fix this. Thanks.Posted on 18 May 2020 - 11:36 PM

Hello,• Allocate more RAM to Badlion Client. Avoid allocating too much RAM as it can cause instability issues.
• Do frequent malware scans with an antivirus program to ensure no malicious programs are consuming computer resources.
• Close all programs that are running on your computer that you are not using.
• If you have Discord open, disable the Overlay feature in Discord.
• If you have GeForce Experience open, disabling the in-game overlay should solve this issue. If you have a laptop, you should also disable Whisper Mode and Battery Boost.
• Settings like render distance (location: Options -> Video Settings), anti-aliasing, and anisotropic filtering (location: Options -> Video Settings -> Quality), smooth fps (location: Options -> Video Settings -> Performance) might affect performance. Lower your render distance and disable anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering, and smooth fps.

If Badlion Client is crashing, you should submit a bug report. By doing that, it will send us your logs and the tech support team will look into the issue. More information about how to submit bug reports can be found here: https://www.badlion.net/wiki/how-to-submit-bug-reports

Is the game crashing with smooth fps enabled or disabled? It tends to decrease FPS and cause some spiking in some situations.

Yeah I would submit a bug report. The issue sounds like a computer thing, but if it keeps crashing after you turn on Smooth FPS then yes you should submit on.
