I can't load my replays? (Already edited and rendered)

I recently made a replay. I edited it and rendered it, and when I tried to open it form the replays_videos folder it said the file was unsupported. I found this odd, as it said the file was an Mp4 File. I use Windows so I used the Movies & TV application to open it (the default one for Windows). I also tried opening it in my editing software, Shotcut, to no avail. I filmed it on 1.12.2 and without OptiFine. Help?Posted on 20 May 2020 - 03:21 PM
Hello,Make sure it is an actual MP4 file, not any temp or whatever type of file.
Try recording, editing and rendering a video on a different MC version. Then try to open it. Inform me about the results.

When I go into the properties of the file, it says that the file type is "MP4 File (.mp4)." Usually video show up in the files looking like a vide (two black bars on the side with gray squares with the first frame of the recording in the middle), but this just looks like a page with the Movies & TV logo on it.Posted on 21 May 2020 - 04:00 AM
Have you tried rendering a video with different render settings?
