RAM limit farly reached Issue
Posted on 23 May 2020 - 11:19 AM
Hello,So I've allocated 3 GB of RAM for Minecraft but sometimes, I've no idea how, it's reaching 7 GB of Ram used and my OS is going super laggy and even if the MC F3 menu shows 400MB used, the task manager shows 7 GB used on Mc and 80% of my 8GB. It doesn't only make my Mc freeze but other stuff I do at the same time. I have to close my Mc (most of the times, windows just ask me to end it) and launching it again.
I don't where does it comes from but it's getting really annoying. Any way to fix it ?

Hello,Does the same problem happen when you allocate 1024MB or 2048MB to Badlion Client?

It is normal for Java programs to use more than the allocated amount of RAM, but not that much. Are you using high-res (HD) resource packs or shaders that would consume a good amount of computer resources?

I don't. I've seen it nearly always happens when I get back to the Minecraft Window after letting it minimized for like 20-30 minutes. When I maximize it, it starts going very badly until it crashes. I've also that problem when I join a lobby on Hypixel with a lot of people, it freezes a lot and it doesn't on Lunar for example. I really like BLC but that kind of stuff starts to really annoy me.Posted on 03 June 2020 - 12:34 PM
Would it be possible for you to submit a bug report by clicking on "Submit Bug Report" at the bottom of the launcher after your game has crashed? Here's a guide: https://www.badlion.net/wiki/how-to-submit-bug-reports
