i updated BLC a few days ago and found that the fov mod no longer works. i had it set up so that my fov ONLY changes when i sprint (not with speed, slowness, etc)

I did some testing wit the settings and found that disabling the "dynamic speed" function no longer does anything. also my sprinting fov felt a bit higher but i'm willing to blame this on me not playing for a while.

If you could please fix this mod that would be amazing because its really hard to play without due to me using 100 base fov.

This is a known bug. Turning Dynamic FOV off in Minecraft video settings should fix the issue temporarily.
