Is it safe to delete BadlionAnticheat.sys

I am trying to use Cheat Engine in one of my single-player game but apparently after some research I figured it was Badlion Anticheat. I don't like really tampering with system files so is it safe to delete? (and is it safe)

Once it is disabled it will stay disabled until you enable it again. Restarts don't enable it again.

Restarts still suck, but thats the only way to unload BAC driver.
