Question about cosmetics

If i buy any cosmetic (in this case i am soon buying the stegi cloak) if i get a new harddrive and have to reinstall the client after and changed my name, would it still be on my account or no? i am planning to buy the cloak soon and dont want the money to go to waste.Posted on 31 May 2020 - 08:45 PM

Hello,Cosmetics are linked to Minecraft accounts (to be exact, they are linked to UUIDs).
You can change your Minecraft name. Your cosmetics shouldn't disappear.
