Armor status mod problem

Whenever I turn on the armor status mod, when i go into my inventory my character becomes invisble (I can see my armour but not the skin) the problem dissapears when i take off my armor.

Could you please give us more information about the issue?
When does it occur? Which mod/setting is broken? Does it happen on all Minecraft versions or on specific ones? If you wish, you can provide screenshots, GIFs, videos.
