Can you try restarting your launcher? If that doesn’t work… Can you please submit a bug report for this by clicking the “submit bug report” button at the bottom of the launcher, this will give us more information as to why this keeps happening to you.

Make sure the hit color mod is turned on.

Make sure to turn off shaders ("internal" shaders are also shaders). Open the shaders menu and make sure it is set to OFF.
