If you were going to speedrun can't you set up a timer, and most recording softwares offer timers to set up for speedrunning?

^ this, but I like the idea. Maybe for when you aren't recording, and Badlion could integrate some sort of anticheat into it to make it harder to fake speedruns (for originality).

Speedruns could still easily be faked, there's no point in this mod maybe for personal reasons but if you're speedrunning I'm pretty sure mods aren't even allowed.

Mods are allowed, speedrunning is pretty flexible. The only thing that is different when using mods is that it shows the mod next to your run on leaderboards. But yes, it would definitely be for personal use. Maybe the anticheat wasn't a very good idea, but I was just trying to consider ways to let the client expand into the speedrunning community. Similarly to how Lunar Client is very hard to cheat on, though still possible, making it very desirable to prove legitimacy in the pvp community. I'm sure the same could be said for the speedrunning community.
