FPS dropped all the sudden

Hello, I have recently been experiencing various types of FPS drops, sometimes in hypixel i go to the pit, when i join my fps is at a stable 200-220 which is pretty good for the pit, but after 15-20 seconds all the sudden a huge lag spike happens and which weirdly enough keeps my FPS at like 20-70 I have tryed allocating memory to mc and reinstalling BLC I do know that its not badlion but i hope someone on here could help, because i've tryed anything i could think of. Please help, thanks!I do remember messing around with java before.

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.Make sure your CPU isn't spiking at 100%.

Yeah, they are up to date. My CPU seems fine also. Any other suggestions? it also happens when a large amount of players or particles are nearby is when the FPS really drops.Posted on 20 June 2020 - 09:44 PM

This is normal as you are rendering a lot more than usual.
I suggest changing your Optifine settings (especially the particle settings).

I tried cleaning everything up, unfortunatly it didn't work, I don't know if optifine could be causing it, because even vanilla minecraft launcher still is dropping my FPS.
