Every time I join a server or even a single player world, it only shows a maximum of one message in the regular chat. After that, messages, commands, and achievements cease to show in the chat. My friends can see what I send and see the chat normally, but I can't even see my own messages that I send. If I disconnect off of the world and relog, the limit resets and I can still only view one message, no matter who sends it.

FIXED: the problem was anti-spam in the chat mod, turn it off to fix this issue. look into it badlion admins?
