Hello,
Shaders is most-likely going to stay as it is, an Optifine feature. If you’re asking this because Optifine isn’t available in 1.16+, I’m afraid that you’re going to have to be patient.

optifine is available for 1.16 (but with bugs obviousely), but shaders already work fine on OP1.16
