So I've gotten dropped by around 5 people who was 1400-1500. Most of them were french and italian and some were from argentina.I reported every single one of them and they've all been ban evading / autoclicking, except one guy who wasn't.
Please start IP banning people instead of letting them ban evade so easily..

This would be really unfair, especially if people had siblings playing in their house (Which would make them have the same IP). Unless they attempt to evade, (In my opinion) it is a bad idea.Posted on 17 February 2015 - 03:53 PM

And how many have brothers etc lol?
This is just a very shitty excuse, I'd make it so that you have to modmail or something and prove that you have a brother so that they're aware about that.

I think it's safe to say that it's people playing minecraft have family members

The countries you listed mostly have dynamic IP's, so IP bans wouldn't even be worth the time as they change every day.Posted on 17 February 2015 - 04:44 PM
I have Dynamic IP address but i'm not hackingPosted on 17 February 2015 - 05:03 PM

If he has a family member that plays minecraft, it's quite possible that his relative also knows badlion. It's a) a very popular server right now and b) not a long way out of his way to tell his family member about it. That doesn't make his family member a hacker, though, even though the first guy might be one.

This. I'd rather just ban 1000 MC accounts and make them un-accessible than try fucking with IPs.

Someone might be using a public VPN / Proxy for protection purposes and if you IP ban the VPN, a lot others might get banned for using a public one.
It does get annoying when the same hackers come back over and over again, but it's better to just ban their accounts, pretty sure if you ban their IP, they would most likely bother changing their IP or putting on a new VPN and switching accounts, and then you'd have to manually ban those accounts anyway, it's faster without the IP ban and more secure.
