Whenever i click launch it does the spinning loading symbol and then it stops as if the client were about to be launched but then nothing happens. Whenever i click launch again it just says client already launched but if I go on task manager it shows that the client has not been launched.

Hello,

Disable antivirus, firewall, or anything else that might be blocking connections, then open the Badlion Client launcher and try to launch the game.

If the same issue persists, enable Debug Mode, then try to launch the game, then submit a bug report through the launcher - https://support.badlion.net/hc/en-us/articles/360013931500-Debug-Mode
It will send us your logs and we will look into the issue.
