Optifine Version Selector (CIT Bow Texture Problem)
Having the ability to select which Optifine version you want to use in the BLC launcher would be amazing. I'm going to be specifically talking about 1.8.9, but I'm sure this feature would be appreciated in all versions. I don't know enough about how OF is implemented in BLC to know if this is even possible, this is just a suggestion, so please let me know if this is unfeasable.

BLC 2.15 released in late June updated from Optifine 1.8.9 I7 to 1.8.9 L5, the most recent version of Optifine 1.8.9. L5 is also probably the last version of OF 1.8.9 at least for the foreseeable future as it has not received an update since April 2019 and the developer is busy with OF 1.16. L5 also has a very annoying bug where any bow or rod textures that use Custom Item Textures (CIT) are broken, with none of the bow drawing textures showing at all when pulling back a bow (OF bug report: https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/issues/3095). This is a pretty small but very annoying bug that has been reported to the BLC forums many times already. The bug only exists in L5, CIT bows worked perfectly in I7. There are a lot of people that use Hypixel Skyblock and UHC overlay texture packs that are affected by the bug, and I have even heard of people leaving BLC entirely to go to Lunar just because of this bug.

Since it's very unlikely that the bug will be fixed in OF, and there is no way to revert OF versions while using BLC, I suggest a way to select which version of OF you want to use in the BLC launcher. I would gladly use I7 over L5 on BLC right now if given the choice, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Another bug that is similar to the CIT bow bug is a bug that makes horses completely invisible if the Random Entities feature of OF is used at all. This bug is also specific to L5.
