i just got blc today and i mosty got it to use shaders, when i open 1.8.9 in video settings i can see shaders option, but in 1.16 i do not. it seems that 1.8.9 has more setting option then the current gamemode, im sorry if this is a dumb question, i would just like to know

You can't use shaders, because optifine for 1.16 isn't complete yet. It's in pre4 and there are many bugs and things that are incomplete. Badlion wants to make sure everything works correctly so your game won't crash and your worlds don't get corrupted etc.
