For some reason if I open Badlion Client on 1.16.1 I can't see any messages in chat, wether I say something, someone else says something, even private messages don't work. Any other versions work fine, and my brother's chat works fine on 1.16.1 so I know it's just me. It's been happening since I started using 1.16.1, and it's really annoying because I play on a server that just updated to 1.16.1, and I want to see chat while using Badlion Client. Hello,Please answer some of these questions so that I can investigate this issue:
Are you on Windows or Mac ?
Are you using New Chat ?
What are your current chat settings for the latter ?

I'm on MacI used to use New Chat but switched because I like the old chat better (it doesn't matter which one I'm using)
My BLC chat settings are the default, and same with my MC chat settings (except for the size). I even compared settings with my brother who's is working perfectly fine but it doesn't change anything.

I turned on chat in both the minecraft setting and badlion settings. I would think that's the problem, except my chat works if I open it through minecraft launcher or if I use a different version (even 1.16 works)Posted on 22 July 2020 - 03:13 AM
Hello,Do you by any chance have enabled the anti-spam option in the chat mod settings? If so, you need to turn it off, and then rejoin the server.
