Why is my crosshair showing in f5??

With A texture pack

But With the Crosshair mod on it works??

But I don't like the crosshair for the mod so I want to use my texture pack crosshair but in f5 it shows the crosshair. I know it is a little detail but it annoys me.

It's an Optifine feature. I don't think you can toggle it.
