Stuck on Downloading Badlion Assets

Title says most.I launch badlion on 1.8.9 it proceeds to an update (Downloading New Badlion Assets) and the % goes up
but after it reaches 100% it resets to 0% and starts going up again.
Thanks in advance for any help
EDIT: i've let it be for an hour and it has not fixed anything

EDIT 2: Ive tried uninstalling badlion (control panel uninstall), restarted my pc then installed it again without any firewalls
but it still wouldnt work, literally 10 minutes before i had issues my badlion was working perfectly

Uhm I got the Same Problem and ive tried installing it for 2h, now I gave up can anyone help me?Ive Whitelisted it in Firewall, Ive tried re-installing it and more but nothing seems to work.
