Hey, a lot of people have been using Minecraft clients for a long time now, and I want to put some thoughts into this.
out of my entire time playing with these "pvp" or "all-game-based" Minecraft client, I had the worst time playing with badlion. and I really think that lunar or lounge or good ol' forge are better options. Here's why:

1. they don't have simple fixes for features that are not healthy for players.
In all of my years playing with badlion, I haven't had issues with it until early January. when I started playing hypixel skyblock. First off there was one main issue I had. Rods didn't have the casting animation, and custom item textures didn't even work, especially now, my potions are just "null" blocks and its very aggravating cause I can't see what potions I have in my Hotbar, don't know when my bow is fully charged, and when my rod actually fully casts. and all have simple fixes by just UPDATING THE OPTIFINE.

2. They don't react the best to updating mods.
When the latest update for skyblock addons came out, it took them over 2-3 weeks to fully update, this was the last straw and what made me switch to forge, especially back when autotip was in a CRUCIAL state and needed to be updated immediately, it took them 2 weeks to do it. they also broke the zealot counter *how do you fuck that up*

3. The client doesn't actually give you better fps, and actually takes more computer resources.
This is the biggest one of all. when I switched back to forge from badlion, I found 2 major things.

my fps was increasingly higher

I noticed that I was getting way fewer fps drops and ram usage.

when i played on badlion i got 200 fps
when i switched to forge i got 500 fps

when i played on badlion i got over 80% ram usage and tons of fps drops in situations
when i switched to forge i got 45% ram usage and wayyy less frame drops (i dont have much ram so its good for it not to be used)

overall, badlion is shit and there are way better alternatives. come at me.


Oh, forgot to say, its also insanely easy to inject ghost clients into it. so most people that use it just cheat on it :) another reason why client-side anti cheats that arent badlion are way better.

Okay, dude Lounge has the spikes where your fps goes down to like 12 when you get like 300 when recording. Lunar is basically Badlion with fewer mods and better fps boost. SBA is 1 mod out of like the 50-60 mods Badlion has, ofc it's not going to be updated every single day.
Also, Badlion does give an fps boost. I get around 130 fps on forge with only stuff like keystrokes cps and reach display (wings mod to look cool.) and on badlion when I RECORD I get like 300. when I'm not recording the most I've hit is around 800. (this is because when I record I use a notification stopper, safe streamer (which blocks out anything other than what I record if obs glitches.)

You said " In all my years of using badlion" you realize we can see your first-ever time using Badlion client. Also if you experience a glitch, report it so it ca get fixed. All other clients have bugs too which you go to report.

Hello! I am sorry to hear that you have had these issues with the client. But as some have said above, the devs try their best to make the client great for the members. The Client can boost fps but you need to enable like all of the fps boosting features within the client. If people could inject cheats, they would be BAC-banned from the Bac-protected servers (that's if they are playing on a BAC-Protected server). Out of 50+ mods in the client, SBA would take a while to be updated to the latest version because the devs do have to work on other mods and things. SBA isn't their #1 priority.

If you have any problems or you wanna say something about the client you can give them your feedback
You can suggest mods and report bugs if they are annoying you :)
