every time I play on version 1.7.10, after a while of playing my chat disappears. I can still say things in chat and click on links but I can't see any messages. The only thing that shows up when I press t or / is the chat bar, no 3 dots for settings or anything. When on 1.8.9 and above this doesn't happen.

it disappears/reappears when I use a multi media key on my keyboard.
