Little information first.
I'm on MY server, which is 100% vanilla besides a claim land plugin and mcmmo, for 1.16.
NO clear chats have happened because only I or another admin can do them (Which they dont)
I have a friend who uses blc aswell on my server but he doesn't have the same problem.

This has been happening for 4-5 days now, and can happen when I just log into the server (like today 7/30/2020)
or can happen 1-4 hours later. I do not have any key-binds to turn off chat and my chat settings for minecraft
are default.

There isn't anything specifically that seems to provoke this glitch/bug besides typing in chat a couple types.
When this happens, it also doesn't allow me to use the gear chat symbol that is normally on the top right hand
side of the chat (BLC feature) and when I press T (For talk) this is the only thing that shows.

There are 6 others currently online, talking in chat, and I can't see what they say but if I type and submit it, my friend
who uses blc on my server too can see it.

Are you using the new-chat mod or the default vanilla one?

i have the same issue, i tried turning the chat mod off but it still doesnt work
