The Sodium Mod
Posted on 30 July 2020 - 04:14 PM
The Sodium Mod is the tried and tested best FPS boosting mod in the world, and also helps with some lighting and graphics problems (and makes things look better). It normally (by the testing in my source) about triples to quadruples your FPS. It is even better than Optifine.Another reason I think you should include this mod is because of the newer versions. The Betterframes mod is great for 1.7 / 1.8, but everyone could use some extra FPS, and as a person who plays exclusively on 1.16, my average 200 FPS going to 600 or so would definitely be nice.
So in all, I think it would be amazing to include the Sodium mod in Badlion. Thank you for your time!

There are a gazillion other threads on this, so here's the jist of it: Sodium is a fabric mod, which means that it's nearly impossible to convert into anything that can be implemented into the client. Even if somehow someone managed to figure that part out, I doubt that Sodium will be introduced just cuz I think a lot of people (including me) are happy with the BetterFrames mod. I have tried it out myself, and with my low end-laptop, it gave an extra 10-15 fps.Posted on 30 July 2020 - 06:41 PM
Oof that sucks. I was mainly suggesting it as a Betterframes for 1.16 and lower, but thats sad :(Posted on 19 August 2020 - 11:16 AM
This is old but the other day the Optifine News Twitter account had a poll. This wasn’t actually a poll that would be applied to Optifine, but one of the options was native frabric support, which was the most popular. Is it possible Optifine could later on have frabric support so Badlion could have Sodium? Just an idea
