Screen goes black when recording in obs only on servers

After a couple minutes of starting obs/Streamlabs obs my screen will go black. I will hear sound for a couple of seconds until it stops responding. Then I will hear sound for half a second then stop responding forever. I cant even press close window on the toolbar once its done this I would have to go into task manager. I don't have to stream but I would like to, I don't know if its the badlion part or obs or my anti virus messing with it. What should I do?Posted on 01 August 2020 - 09:24 PM
I knew something was wrong with it, I had the same problem. I'm actually not sure what it is, I was trying to record my rainbow sheep in a survival server. So yeah.Posted on 01 August 2020 - 10:15 PM
Yeah I have had way worse before, instead of not responding it would BSOD so i'm grateful that it doesn't do that no more but I still can't stream or record sadly.Posted on 02 August 2020 - 05:10 AM
I've had this problem before. Unfortunately, its OBS not minecraft or Badlion. They have some bugs which causes screens to blackout randomly, really annoying.
