{MOD REQUEST} for OOFmod V2

Hello! i would love to have the oofmod v2 added to badlion client, as i prefer badlion to forge almost any day.I would like to have it added because it plays a nice sound/that the user can choose/ when you kil someone. it just adds to the asthetic of pvp for me!

Hello,Unfortunately We cannot add OOF mod due to legal and copyright reasons. The "oof" sound is copyrighted, we don't have the rights to use and distribute it as part of the client. Refraction can as the mod is non-profit and open source. that & pretty much 90% of the sound effects that people will add themselves will likely be copyrighted material. However there was talk that we are trying to add something similar.

Then just remove the oof factor? That’s only one of the many sounds in the mod, and you can rename it to “DeathSound” or something. Easy copyright dodge. Could be wrong though, I’m not very educated in this stuff, lmk if I’m wrong
