I recently downloaded and installed Badlion because a couple of my Twitch streamer friends recommended it to me so I would like to give it a shot. However when I created my account and launched the game through the client, joining servers caused there to be a black screen. I have not tried any servers other than Hypixel. I play on version 1.8.9. I've tried restarting my computer, changing game settings (Fast Render and Antialiasing are both off), restarting the client, uninstalling and reinstalling the client, and it still happens. I don't know what to do. Please help me fix this, I really want to use this client but if I can't fix it I'll just use a different one.

Try uninstalling minecraft and badlion then restart your pc and reinstall them,
Tell me if it works.

this also happened to me both in the real mc client and badlion what I did was turn off optifine and it worked. hope this helps
