I have a decent computer that runs java minecraft just fine. But with Badlion it have these "hitches" that happen every like 2 seconds. I get 200+ frames and then goes to 4 and then comes back up. Ive messed with a bunch of settings and ive allocated a lot of different numbers of ram but nothing. Lunar client runs great but id rather use Badlion. Im not sure what the problem is.Posted on 29 August 2020 - 04:33 PM
Make sure that your graphic drivers are fully updated, check that your GPU/CPU is not hitting 100, and how much ram do your currently have allocated?Last edited on 29 August 2020 - 04:35 PM by Kozmyc
My GPU and CPU arent even close to maxing out, rn i have it in the middle at 7GBs out of 14 something. Ived tried giving it more and less ram and it doesnt change anythingLast edited on 29 August 2020 - 04:45 PM by ItsSodapop
7GB? Do you mean MB? If you are giving it 7GB I would recommend putting it down a bit cause Badlion doesn't require that much. Try turning off Optifine and see if the issue still occur please.Last edited on 29 August 2020 - 04:48 PM by Kozmyc
I love you so muchhhhhh…never would of thought optifine would make frames lessPosted on 29 August 2020 - 04:49 PM
Ok then it is not an issue with Optifine, but regarding ram I would recomend placing it somewhere between 2 and 3 GBs in the future, but regarding the hitches in FPS scroll to the bottom of the launcher and click the button which says "Submit Bug Report", it will take you to the forums and create a thread for you, fill out all the questions if you need help let me know and I will assist, your logs should automatically be filled in at the bottom of the thread, once everything is filled in submit the bug report and the issue will be looked into and once a solution is found you will be sent a reply on that thread.Posted on 29 August 2020 - 04:49 PM
Any idea why it would make it less? Optifine has always been a god to me, weird that with Badlion it made things worse. i thought about turning it off but i was like "nah, theres no way it would make it better"Last edited on 29 August 2020 - 04:52 PM by ItsSodapop
Turning it off just tests if it is an issue with your Optifine configuration if the issue stopped it would have been an issue with it, but the issue didn't stop so it is probably a different problem occurring.Posted on 29 August 2020 - 04:52 PM
A bug report would be the best option at this point.Posted on 29 August 2020 - 04:53 PM
Turning it off solved the problem,Thank you so muchhhhPosted on 29 August 2020 - 04:57 PM
Ok that is good to hear that issue was solved, but just for future reference if you want to use Optifine again you should reset your configuration for it or find the setting that is causing the problem. Anyways glad I could help.Posted on 29 August 2020 - 04:58 PM
What do i do about the fact that i cant use some of the optifine features like shaders and other things
