How do i increase max fps?

Since downloading badlion today, I have had a max fps on Minecraft of 60fps, and I was wondering how I could change the limit on badlion somewhere because my game is considerably slower. Before anyone says to go to Minecraft, press esc, press option, video settings, change max fps, I have already put that to max.
