Error checking for jar updates. NEED HELP

Dear,So i'm trying to play on 1.16.3 but when i try to play on it, it says: Error checking for jar updates. Check your internet connection and any firewall software you have installed. But this ONLY HAPPEND on 1.16.3 and not on others, i still can play 1.8.9 PvP and stuff
please help me..

Is 1.16.3 even supported in badlion? If u want to play on 1.16 play on 1.16.1 cuz that supports optifine
