A lot of new maps were added in the previous season and a lot of them removed. There are a lot of new maps that lag even on 1.7 and I'm not even going to talk about 1.8.
There's a small map with slab stairs everywhere which lags on 1.8 with Optifine on a gaming PC. I just think it would be better if some old maps were back and laggy maps were removed because Badlion is a great server which listens to their players unlike some other servers.

This isn't really a bug nor is it a broken feature.

There are multiple posts about this, and the staff team are aware that some maps are not liked. It's hoped that when the ELO reset comes about (the 27th of February) that a /rating command will come out to show the overall liking or disliking of certain maps.
