I'm unable to enable particle in 1.8.9 somehow even with default MC settings. This makes a huge disadvantage when I'm playing on Hypixel

If this issue happens only on Hypixel, type /particlequality extreme or /particlequality high in the chat. It should enable all Hypixel particles.
