1. Can Badlion Client slow down or damage a laptop?
2. Does the download affect other Minecraft version etc.?

1. no it cant and it wont slow down your laptop it should boots your gameplay (it did for me when i had a low performing computer a while back)

2. it wont affect other versions but if you happen to start a world in 1.12.2 for example on the regular Minecraft launcher it can appear in your wold menu on Badlion
