so I have used badlion before and it worked but i uninstalled it and then my friend convinced me to get it again and now it will not stop authenticating, I have done everything possible and it still doesn't work

Hello,
There are a few reasons this could be happening :
Something is blocking the client
The version is broken
To try and resolve the issue, follow these steps :
Make sure that no applications or software are blocking the client (antivirus, firewall , MCLeaks). Do also make sure not to use a VPN as it can block the client.
Additionally, if this bug occurs after trying to launch a version, try the following steps:
- Open Run by pressing (Windows+R)
- Type %appdata%
- Go to .minecraft
- Go to versions
- Remove the BLClientX files
- Restart your PC
- Launch again.
If that doesn’t help, go to the launcher and click “Submit Bug Report.
