So I've made a few posts about spam being a problem. It would be completely unfair to take away a donator perk that people payed for because some people can't control themselves. As a retired staff member I know that mods are trained to hand out 15 minute - 1 hour mutes for spam. Some of the higher ups recognize that small mutes do nothing and hand out 1 day + punishments which in my opinion all mods need to be trained to do. I don't mean the fan boys for streamers getting hit by the auto mute system, this post generally refers to the donators that flood chat, get a 15 minute mute, then spam again in 15 minutes to have another mod mute them, and repeat the process.I'm gonna use this screenshot as an example, note this was taken a few days ago and I'm not asking for him to be punished now:
Something like this should easily be a 3-7 day ban or 7-30 day mute. Most mods would mute for an hour.
Basically to sum up this post, spam which floods the chat with a repetitive message should be a 1 day mute minimum, and go up from there depending on what they say. 15 minute - 1 hour mutes isn't teaching people anything, and they need to learn there's consequences for their actions.

When I see something like this I always mute for at least 1 day, usually more.However the normal case of spam example:
"join 2v2 uhc"
"join 2v2 uhc"
"join 2v2 uhc"
"join 2v2 uhc"
would just be 30 minutes or slightly more.

I completely agree, the amount of spam from day to day is not only annoying but extremely distracting. I think they should be punished. Get a 15 minute spam warning and if they don't stop give them a day mute.
