First time posting! forgive me if I'm not using the proper format.

My issue started when me and the boys are playing a Minecraft server together and they were typing in chat, the thing is, I couldn't see their messages. Like not even the chat bubble appears
Only the bottom part

Some posts say to disable new chat, I've tried it, doesn't work, I've also reset the chat mod, also doesn't work. I play 1.16.3 if that helps.
