Huge FPS Drops

I have a relatively good PC that runs around 200-300 FPS in 1.8.9 Multiplayer. Recently I started playing 1.16.4 Survival and whenever I walk around or look around I get MAJOR FPS Drops (from around 280 to around 35) for a few seconds. It stutters like that for a few seconds, and only seems to do it when I enter a new chunk. Can anyone help me out with this? I assume its a problem with 1.16.4 but I'm wondering if there is a setting that fixes it.Im running the newest version of Badlion 2.0 on Windows 10 with around 5 gigs of RAM allocated. I am also using Optifine.

Same with my 1.16 ;/ On 1.14.4 vanilla mc i got about 500 fps, but on blc 1.16.3 I've got only 90 fps and drops for lower than 60
