So for some reason I can't do anything when I'm in a menu like the shop in bedwars or the compass to go to different gamemodes
and I was thinking if uninstalling 1.8.9 on BLC will work since I can use everthing perfectly fine on 1.16.4

Hello,

You can delete the version folders by doing the fallowing:
Open Run by pressing on "Windows+R"
Type "%appdata%/.minecraft/versions"
Delete the "BLClient18" folders.
