Hey everyone. We have been wanting to do this for a long time now. We at Badlion really believe in open communication, and we want to be able to easily talk with our players. Hence is why we have made our own forums that use in-game services/names. There is a new feature for this thread specifically that will allow sub-posts only between the owners and the person who made the post. An admin must comment first though before the person can make a sub-post and reply. You will see what I mean.There are a few areas we will not touch or might not give out much information on though such as financials, what we do in real life, and anything related to Badlion's source code/algorithms/system configurations. If we do not feel comfortable answering a question we will most likely reply and say "Sorry I can't answer this" or "I don't feel comfortable answering this." We want to be hoenst and open with you guys but not to the point where it puts us in a bad position. Don't be afraid to ask any questions related to the above topics, but don't be offended if we don't answer it.
We will most likely answer for a couple of hours and then call it quits. Ask away below!

We are not sure about our future host plans. We are actively looking around and doing some research to see about it though. If we end up moving from our current host we are going to add a west coast north america location and an east coast north america location. Age isn't a huge factor in applications, but we recommend being at least a teenager. I've seen 14 year olds more mature than 18 year olds.Posted on 28 February 2015 - 09:06 PM

I don't think we'll ever offer a 50% sale because of fee's from buycraft/paypal from the 5$ donation. The next sale will either be when we reach some huge milestone, release a new gamemode, or near the beginning of summer break (possibly)Posted on 28 February 2015 - 09:04 PM
We do 20% sales on special occasions generally. At the current moment I don't know the next time we will be doing one. We just did one on February 7th during the 2 year anniversary. We will soon be adding a rating system to both SG and Potion Maps, and maps that consistently score low will be removed. We met in a game named Age of Empires II. We were both mainly Custom Scenario players, and in opposite clans (the top 2 clans still to this day). We met several times as rivals, and then we drifted apart. We are definitely working on our Factions server still of course. We plan on adding more gimics to PotionPvP to continue it's growth and interest.I would love to bring back Minekart one day @ComboDombo @BetterSprint
Otherwise we are trying to improve our core servers/game modes at the moment. To be quite frank we dont think too far ahead in game modes and we just do what people ask for :)

We do hope to have more tournaments. We actually are looking into hiring a Tournament staff that are dedicated to running tournaments at least once a month if not once every other week. They would switch between the gamemodes (not just potpvp)Posted on 28 February 2015 - 09:20 PM

We are going to add a /rate command very very soon. People will be able to rate maps.OVH I have no issues with at the moment. You and some other people are having more problems than I am (west coast ftw). It is something I am looking into and looking around though.
I use CentOS, not much of a Debian or Ubuntu fan.
We do think we will offer Badlion merchandise just for fun maybe with little availability to make it more "rare". No we will not sell ELO Dropper T-Shirts, but we will sell ELO Dropper Panties and Boxers

Some of the unexpected problems we faced was MySQL not being able to handle the amount of queries we do, being hit by 300Gbps+ ddos's, and making a deployment system to manage about 100 servers. I classify toxic behavior as stuff like staff disrespect and single off insults.I classify cancerous behavior as attitudes like 'ez', 'rekt', ddos threats. Basically the difference between the two is cancerous behavior are attitudes that can spread and kill a community if not stopped.
