Why is badlion client asking me for my password?

So just right now I have launched badlion client, and it's now suddenly asking me for my password despite the fact my normal Minecraft launcher is already connected and logged into properly, I currently refuse to insert my password cause i don't really trust it when I'm logged into my Minecraft account through the original launcher, this seems a little too fishy for me, anyone knows what's going on?Posted on 08 December 2020 - 12:13 PM
Hello,Badlion will occasionally ask for your Minecraft credentials to ensure they're correct. This is perfectly safe, and when you type the login it's passed onto Mojang servers to authenticate you.

Oh alright, but why did this just happen today? I mean in the past months it did not ask at all, it just used the Minecraft launcher method.Posted on 09 December 2020 - 05:46 AM
We're aware of this and it's something that we're currently fixing. It has to do with the change that Mojang is making with how you login (Migration to Microsoft accounts)Posted on 09 December 2020 - 08:58 AM
