My friend started a realms server. After that, I had to launch in 1.16.4 instead of my usual which is 1.16.1 even tho I pvp i don't like the mouse acceleration on 1.8.9. Ever since then whenever I close Minecraft and log back, all off my setting change. I have put in my settings about 5 times now and I have a lot and takes about 15 minutes each time. I have tried making new mod profiles but they don't save either. How can I fix this?

some save and some dont
