Hey guys, here for the weekly BLC 3.0 Beta update. First, Happy Hanukkah (or Hannukah/Chanukka depending how you spell it) to all of those who celebrate it! It's time to light the candles and play some dreidel with your friends and family. We are always excited to celebrate as many holidays on Badlion Client as possible, as we have people from all over the world using it.

Swapping topics now to the Badlion Client 3.0 beta, we are getting closer and closer to a full release, as we plan on sticking to our 2020 release date, as we promised at the start of this year. Our team is hard at work adding some last minute features and cleaning up the client as much as possible before we roll it out to the public.

We will be releasing the Badlion Client 3.0 launcher EARLY next week, as we have just added Microsoft login support which Mojang rolled out earlier this month for all new Minecraft accounts. The full Minecraft update for Badlion Client 3.0 will not be coming out at the same time as the 3.0 launcher though.

FPS Update 5

Anyone want more FPS? Well don't worry we got you covered with this week's update to Badlion Client. The update for the FPS changes can be found below:

More FPS boost is now available under our FPS Boost option! No work required on your part, and more FPS from our part :)

We have optimized our emote system further this past week to reduce the amount of FPS it costs to run (and as a reminder, it will always take more than rendering a normal MC entity)

We are going to continue and improve the FPS of the client for the remainder of the Badlion Client 3.0 beta, and even shortly after we will continue to polish the FPS of systems to keep it as high and stable as possible.

Quickplay Mod

First, a shoutout to bugfroggy (https://twitter.com/bugfroggy) who has been working with us over the last few months for Quickplay's debut on Badlion Client! We are super excited and happy to share that this long requested mod has finally found a new home in Badlion Client.

What is the Quickplay Mod you may ask? It's exactly what it says! It helps you play games quicker while playing on Hypixel, by adding a new UI component to the game to allow for you to navigate around the servers quicker. You can choose which game modes you want to play, play with parties, and much more. This is definitely an essential mod now for the Hypixel players on Badlion Client, as the AutoText mod no longer works on Hypixel due to their team disabling it (it was being abused by some BLC users). We know that many of you were using the AutoText mod to create quick macros to join your games, and now you have Quickplay to do that for you!

Microsoft Login Support

We are excited to share that Badlion Client will be one of the first 3rd party Minecraft clients to support the new Microsoft login systems! This means that all new Minecraft accounts purchased starting December 1st will be able to register and use our awesome community client! This has been a crazy amount of work, and something the team had to squeeze in last minute due to the unannounced timeline from Microsoft/Mojang, but we did manage to get this supported. Unfortunately due to the way that this feature works, it will only be supported in the launcher, and not directly in Minecraft. We will make this easier to use in the future, but for the short term functionality was our main objective. Check it out below

SkyblockAddons Update

We are back this week with another upgrade to our SkyblockAddons mod. We will continue to work on consolidating all of the big Skyblock mods into a single experience for all Badlion Client users and then make a commitment to staying up to date with them as well.

This week's updates to the SkyblockAddons mod are:

Added a new command /reparty which allows you to party up again with your fellow dungeon players again quickly

Show you when your dungeon teammates are at critical health (I assume…Biscuit please write better tickets)

A new display to show collected essences in dungeons

A new map for the dungeons

A new display to show dungeon secrets

A new display to show your dungeon milestone

A new display to show the deaths in dungeons

Added an option to disable dungeon boss messages

Added a new personal compactor preview

Added an option to mute fish hat and stereo pants

Added a slayer reminder for when the last slayer boss has been killed to allow users to use the batphone easier

Added hourly rates for exp counter and exp per hour for certain crops/skills

Added a compact tab list to make it easier to view

Added an option to hide players nearby in Skyblock

Added a skill progress bar display option

Added an option to hide other player's presents

Whew. That was a lot of updates for SkyblockAddons this past week. As mentioned in previous patch notes, we are working to move all of our Skyblock functionality into a single massive mod with some improved navigation coming next week. We want to make the mod as easy to use as possible for all Skyblock players.

Global Search

This week we have a brand new menu to share with everyone to make it faster and easier to find things in the Badlion Client. You can activate this menu by hitting Right Shift twice quickly (note: this is a temporary hotkey, and will be replaced soon with "ctrl + k" instead when we have multi-keybinds working).

When this menu is open you can type almost anything into it and have the appropriate options for Badlion Client appear on screen! You can play emotes, get to mods quickly, find that random setting that you can't remember where it is at, and more! This is definitely going to become my new best friend when I want to go and change a setting quickly and not have to navigate to it myself. Check out the demo below:

Ported the Replay Keyframe editing and marker editing panels into the BLC 3.0 UI system

A new Hannukkah theme has been added for a limited amount of time for the users to enjoy

[All] Fixed an issue with the fast item render fps option causing the enchant texture to render on the incorrect layer

[All] Fixed a bunch of random chat formatting problems that would lead to missing information in the messages you were receiving

Minecraft Tweaks

We have gone ahead and shrunk down the main menu in Badlion Client 3.0 to be more similar to the size of Badlion Client 2.0 which we feel is a bit less invasive and in your face. We are still working on some plans for an alternate main menu eventually for users who want a more Vanilla feeling experience.

Sped up some of the boot time for Minecraft when launching from the Badlion Client launcher

Changed how we do server calls for outfits (new cosmetics feature) to make it faster to swap between them

Improved our new Vanilla preset profile to be more Vanilla like

As mentioned above, we will continue to improve the FPS. We have some more updates already planned to go out next week which should bring it up another notch :)

We will continue to finish off the Replay Mod and slowly port missing menus into our 3.0 system.

We have some more cool Insider features which should be coming out soon for our 3.0 users!

Continue to improve the UI of BLC 3.0 based on community feedback and as time permits…

Upgrading our SkyBlock mods soon with cool new features

Continue to fix bugs and inconsistencies as they are reported

Just little problems, nothing too major currently on our radar.

We are entering the end game of Badlion Client 3.0 for the year of 2020. We are committed to releasing it before the year comes to a close, and we want to thank everyone for their continued patience with us as we have worked on it this year. It was the largest project we have ever done on Badlion, and we can't wait to continue to improve it next year!

Amazing updates, thank you!

Sadly, the perspective mod is still not working when Optifine is active.
This is the only thing stopping me from using the new beta version.

And, are there known issues with Optifine on 1.16.14? Seems like Optifine is not active on this version.

I'm glad to see the chat is fixed now. I'm still experiencing the entire client text going black though, which is quite annoying, and hopefully you can fix that soon.

Other then that I haven't noticed any other bugs :)

Thank you for fixing the login issues with Badlion, it's nice to always see bugs getting reported and fixed, can't wait for when 3.0 is released to the public!

May i suggest adding OldHitting? Its a mod that allows you to use blockhit while you are in 1.9 or above on 1.8 pvp servers. I saw it in sigma client and i was wondering if it would be a good suggestion

It is being activated this week, there was a bug with the launcher that got fixed in the last update that unblocked us from releasing it.

Good to hear that OptiFine on 1.16.4 will be fixed soon. :)

Do you maybe know then the "Perspective Mod" will be fixed?
This is so far the only reason which is stopping me from using the new beta.

Fastest why to reproduce it for me is join a game of Skywars on Hypixel, finish that game, and then the entire client text would be black. I've already made 2 bug reports about it.
