I have no problem logging in to Badlion Client with my Badlion account however when I try to launch 1.8.9 it gives the error "Error updating jar. -1" and doesn't open the client.I use a mac and I have played regular 1.8.9 Minecraft earlier today on my Mc launcher. I have tried relogging, restarting my laptop, and most things I could think of. I am on a Macbook pro with Catalina update version 10.15.7 (19H2). I also don't have any adblocker or vpn's working currently, even though I do have them installed, they are not on. How can i fix this?

Same problem. MacOS Catalina.First time user of Badlion.
I hope it normally doesn't have this type of instability.

It must be only a Mac thing as I am using a Mac, and have the same problem. And a couple of weeks ago I was using a windows and it was perfectly fine, so I guess it's a Mac problem :/Posted on 18 December 2020 - 10:25 AM
I guess so as well, but I've used badlion on my mac like a few weeks ago and it worked fine so i guess it's something after the last update.Posted on 18 December 2020 - 07:17 PM
In fact I think that the error came not only with the mac but also with the new update of the client, that also happens to me and I do not have vpn, antivirus and much less FireWall so it seems strange to me and in any version that I open it gives me the same error that …Posted on 18 December 2020 - 08:06 PM

I was having this problem for a while, however after waiting a day it worked, perhaps try restarting computer.
