BLC using my intel 630 and not my NVIDIA 2060
BLC 3.0 is not using my NVIDIA 2060 and is instead using the intel 630. I am using an acer gaming laptop.

This makes the game have very low FPS, as in the image it shows that im getting 53 FPS, when usually i would have about 160+

This doesn't happen with the regular BLC, because that uses my 2060

laptop.

Drivers are not the issue or anything, it's just that The OS thinks it's best for IGPU to run these kind of applications (OpenGL) instead of Dedicated GPU for now

-Try Turning off Hybrid Mode through your BIOS to make sure the OS uses the Dedicated GPU
-Try Running Minecraft using NVIDIA's Control Panel And Graphics Settings methods ( https://windowsreport.com/minecraft-not-using-gpu/#:~:text=Select%20the%20NVIDIA%20GPU,the%20left%20of%20the%20window.&text=To%20select%20the%20NVIDIA%20GPU,Click%20the%20Add%20button )

"Windows Report Website"

Focus on the step 1, 3 (NVIDIA) And not 2 (AMD users only)

In a desctop pc a doiscrete videocard has a seprate hdmi output diractly connected to it however in a laptop it is connected to the screen through the motherboard along with the intel graphics and the pc decided which videcard to use. For example when I run a steam vr test it uses my intel graphics instead of discrete videocard.
From my experience with that updating drivers, disabling intel graphics and forcing the app to use the discrete gpu won't help.

NOT All laptops are the same dude… they have different options and settings and different ways on how they work since ASUS is not the same as HP or MSI or Etc…

yours is different from his and mine too

there are ways you can do to disable the IGPU (HP USER solution):

forcing the dedicated gpu to run a specific app works fine on almost any Laptop/Desktop

Updating drivers is just completely out of the topic and it doesn't have to do anything about it

the issue here is that having a laptop isn't the best thing as the Dedicated GPU that works with IGPU on most Laptops weren't designed for Low usage task because they aren't designed as desktop and they have batteries on them so if you use the Dedicated GPU all the time, the battery life might be a lot shorter (?) than it's supposed to be because of how the Dedicated GPU uses power differently than the IGPU which it is designed for Low power use.

and also since all the data that is being rendered and transformed from the Dedicated GPU (which the data that is carrying is heavy) to the IGPU (can't handle the heavy data) to the monitor can cause a lot of performance hit and it's the biggest issue here IF the laptop is forced to use IGPU as the primary GPU for displaying all the data to the monitor (if you can't disable the IGPU or can't find the option to turn off the Hybrid Mode).

so What I'm saying is that getting a desktop for the performance is the best solution here.
