Should I use Badlion Client 3.0 instead of 2.17?

I'm currently using Badlion Client 2.17, just with 3.0 launcher which was released 3 days ago. I initially wanted to switch to 3.0 client, however I heard that 3.0 had a bug in chat interface, chat messages are not showing up when typing a chat message. Is it fixed right now?Should I upgrade to Badlion Client 3.0?

Talking about new features, was scrollable tooltips removed? If not, I cant find it in graphics or any mods, so can you tell me where to enable it? Thank you in advance
