First and foremost, happy holidays to everyone! We have been crazy hard work this year on Badlion Client, and our development team is taking off some much needed time during the holiday season this year. As you are all aware, we have released Badlion Client 3.0 to the world, and every day we are seeing more users swap from BLC2 to BLC3. We are excited to continue to improve and grow the Badlion Client 3.0 experience during the 2021 year.
I wanted to make this quick forum post to talk over our commitment to improving the performance of Badlion Client 3.0 in 2021 even further than we already have. We began working on the FPS performance issues about 1-2 months ago, and from then we have seen tremendous gains depending on the hardware configuration. In some cases we saw as much as an 80% improvement from BLC2 -> BLC3 using top tier hardware (e.g. RTX 3080 / AMD 5950x). We think this is an awesome start, but we definitely want to push the bar further in 2021. Not everyone has top of the line hardware, and many of our users are using older hardware that don't have much VRAM, or as many advanced driver features available.
This is just the beginning for us with BLC 3.0 with the performance and FPS. We are seeing on average an increase of 20% for all of the users swapping from Badlion Client 2.0 -> 3.0. We are going to be investigating in early 2021 how we can continue to improve the FPS for users who are using integrated graphics (e.g. no dedicated card), and we will have some cool benchmarks to share at a later date with the community.
We are dedicated to making sure that the Badlion Client experience is as smooth as possible for everyone. Badlion Client 3.0 was the first step in this journey, and we will continue that journey next year, together in 2021.

I would love to try it out, but I can't access BLC3 :/I use the latest launcher version but I can't use BLC3

Ngl blc 3.0 is super pog the only sad thing is you need windows 10 to use it so yeah rip but we windows 10 users get better fps and if you want some then get a windows 10 vm or something if you dont wanna buy it idk btw sorry if my writing is bad i just woke up and my hands are coldPosted on 24 December 2020 - 08:04 PM

unfortunatlly i cant see badlion icons anymore on blc 3.0. I have badlion icons turned on but they don't work. Also i dont know why but i got more fps drops on blc 3.0 then 2.0Posted on 27 December 2020 - 12:39 AM

Is there a way to turn off the launcher and still run minecraft? Because i only have 2 GB Ram and Core 2dou no Card Driveri am very love Badlion

You can enable this feature in the badlion client launcher settings.
To do so, press on the cog wheel next to the optifine button and scroll down until you see the "Minimize Badlion Client Launcher when Minecraft is running.

I swapped from blc 3 to blc 2 because my fps dropped from 200 to 40btw max framerate is unlimited a lot of ppl think that its me setting the max framerate to 40
