Ok I am really sorry to trouble you guys but this is kinda important. When I downloaded Badlion Client for the first time (yesterday), the game version was automatically set to 1.8.9. I played on this for a bit testing out all the new features but then I realised I was not on the most up-to-date version and I wanted to move to 1.16.4. I click MC Version and change it from 1.8.9 to 1.16.4. Then I press launch, it takes a while and says downloading "optifine" and "patching" then a message comes up that says:Error
Error updating jar.-5
Submit bug report.
I submitted a bug report which hasn't been answered yet, so I came here. Badlion can load up most other versions.
I am on Windows 10 Laptop Pro Thinkpad Lenovo. If anyone knows how I can fix this that would be amazing.This message comes up with most other versions as well.

I have the same problem it only works for me if i turn Optifine and BLC3 off, but 1.16.3 works fine with both on. I dont understand this.Posted on 01 January 2021 - 11:02 AM

Delete jars- Nopes
restart after restart- Not a chance
