Badlion Sending Malicious WebSite
Posted on 14 January 2021 - 08:22 AM
So, I have an Orbi for my WiFi, and it shows whenever someone on the WiFi goes to a bad website. Whenever I use Badlion, it tries to send me to a bad website (http://resumersvo.fund[DON'T CLICK]), and it is starting to get really annoying. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would really appreciate it.(BTW, for anyone saying 'bUt WhAt If It IsNt BaDlIoN?!?!?!?!??!??!"
I know it is. Whenever I use Badlion, it happenes. If I switch and use Forge/Lunar, nothing happens. So, yeah. It's Badlion"

Do you yourself know this is a malicious website, or is your wifi just saying it is, have you downloaded anything else recently that could have been invasive? I'll tell you right now, Badlion won't do this on it's own. Badlion is a very reputable client and I use it every single day. You can check your downloads folder, do you see anything you didn't download? I know other people are having problems with this because they have downloaded resource/texture packs, have you done that? Try a dns flush.Last edited on 16 January 2021 - 10:06 AM by x_unia
The website isn't even active, I haven't had this issue, and nobody else has. Try running a MalwareBytes scan on your PC.
