Hello! so recently this problem has started, I wanted to get back into badlion client again because I haven't actually used it in a whileso I updated it a few days ago, went to try and run it, but the launcher wouldn't show up, I kept clicking it seeing if the launcher would appear but it still wouldn't
So I checked Task Manager and it says Badlion Client was indeed running in the background, but just wasn't showing up
I've tried everything to fix it, I force-stopped the background Badlion Client tasks in Task Manager and then re-ran it, didn't work, I uninstalled & reinstalled Badlion Client like twice, restarted my computer numerous times, & no matter how long I wait for it to appear, all didn't work.
Still have the problem occurring, so my last shot is to contact the forums about it.
Anybody know why this is happening?

No it wasn't, only after. Thank you for pointing that out though, I should've shown task manager before opening it, my apologies, but no it wasn't running beforehand.
I dunno, reinstalling badlion doesn't work, restarting my computer doesn't work, I've tried quite a few things, I'm just as stumped as you guys are unfortunately.

Oh, I remember this one weird thing about power management software causing an issue like this.Do you have anything weird like this? Asus or Acer I believe was the cause of the problem….

One is the launcher not opening at all. Another are the network errors you described…but we don't have official support for China.

I don't have an Asus or Acer, or anything in my PC that is made by them, it's a prebuilt from CyberpowerPC, and as far as I know "Performance & Energy" is the only setting for any power management and it's been the same since I got it, even when Badlion was working months ago before this.

Do you have Discord on your PC? Are you able to open this?

I successfully opened Badlion once by disconnecting the network, but only once, and the whole page was not fully loaded. Maybe you should add "What will Badlion do if the connection times out?"Posted on 28 January 2021 - 10:36 PM

The issue he is having is related to China <-> Internet, not the same problem you are having :)
